DESCRIPTION: TT12EC2S Evans TT12EC2S Edge Control 12 Tom Drum Head The EC2 features Sound Shaping Technology - a damping technique utilizing an Edge Control ring mounted underneath two plies of 7 mil film, that ensures optimized performance for each individually sized drumhead. By controlling edge vibration instead of eliminating it, the ring isolates and damps higher overtones, increases attack, tone, length of sustain and ease of tuning, and delivers a more balanced and pre-EQd sound across the full kit.
