DESCRIPTION: This is an amazing example of a very rare Ludwig Vistalite kit from the 1970s. As best as I can tell this set dates from 1975-1977. The vistalite drums do not have serial numbers. The set comes with an equally amazing condition 5x14 Supraphonic snare with the serial number 1337071. This set came in original Ludwig vinyl bags (included) that must have helped preserve this 30 year old kit. There is a slight tom rash on the bass drum that may be buffed out by a skilled person. All parts are original including resonant heads on toms and snare. snare wires are original. Bass drum has original Logo heads with the reversed logo on the batter side so that it can be read from the audience side. We even left the original felt strips there. All chrome and nuts look as new as possible. Hardware group is sold with this set the speedking looks and plays like new as does the hihat stand. The set also includes 2 cymbal stands ,a snare stand (missing rubber feet) and the original Ludwig throne.
