In 1998 I moved to Africa where I played hundreds of gigs and several commercial recording sessions. I moved to Canada in 2007 and have shifted my emphasis from gigging to teaching. I'm 27 and have be en teaching music for 11 years locally in Ottawa, as well as overseas experience teaching in the United Kingdom and Thailand, with extensive experience working with children as high school music teacher. I am a graduate of the prestigious Brighton Institute Of Modern Music (www.bimm.co.uk), with extensive studio and live performance experience, and have been playing and studying drumming for 18 years. Stylistically I specialize in Rock, Heavy Metal and punk. I truly enjoy working and learning with students on a subject which I have a great passion for, and prefer to not let money be a limiting issue for a student that is truly interested in learning.
